David Letterman’s ‘Top Ten List’ was a comedy mainstay in my household growing up. But The Late Show aired too late so I watched the VCR recordings the next day. Dave’s humorous review of the topic of the day in a countdown has always been a format for maximum impact. 10 has just the right amount of depth and conciseness although the round numbered list has been around for some time (i.e., The Ten Commandments). I would, however, argue that Dave made the Top Ten List what it is today in our modern lexicon. You can not go anywhere without encountering a top ten from recipes on YouTube to football power rankings. Maybe it’s because they’re so easy to write—anyone can come up with one.

This week, we will introduce the next part of our Vision 2020 blog series: CULTURE. Culture inevitably goes hand-in-hand with who we are and what our vision is for the future. Company culture evolves everyday, but it is also guided to fit the vision of management. Below describes what our culture looks like and what we want to become.

At the end of 2019, we posted a blog that outlined the industry trends we anticipate for 2020 and how that will impact Circadiance for the years to come. Part of being ready to react to market and policy changes is having a solid sense of who we are as a company and what our vision is for the future. Throughout this year we will be posting about what sets our vision and our company apart from the rest. Our first focus is the most important of all—people. 

The end of the fourth quarter is a time for reflecting on the past year and looking ahead to the new year. In 2019, we have seen the various global trends in medical devices playing out within our own business. Typically, the trends of one year will blend into the new year and often beyond. In anticipation of the coming year, we isolated four med-tech trends that have had an impact on Circadiance in 2019 and will probably continue to present opportunities and challenges for 2020:
