At the end of 2019, we posted a blog that outlined the industry trends we anticipate for 2020 and how that will impact Circadiance for the years to come. Part of being ready to react to market and policy changes is having a solid sense of who we are as a company and what our vision is for the future. Throughout this year we will be posting about what sets our vision and our company apart from the rest. Our first focus is the most important of all—people.
Our people think of themselves as “go getters” and “self-starters”. Circadians would rather propose a solution than to ask their supervisor for guidance. Employees have many opportunities to learn new things and to take on new challenges. They are encouraged to ask questions and challenge the “conventional wisdom”. Our employees enjoy the opportunity to integrate their ideas with their team members to come up with better solutions for our customer’s problems. Circadians like building things from scratch, but are not too proud to bring in solutions and fresh ideas from any source available. Circadians expect to be the best and demand their team members to perform at a high level.
We are very “results-oriented”. Our people are passionate about helping our customers solve their problems. A number of Circadians have moved around to different positions within the company since joining us. Our growth as a company has provided these opportunities for career growth. Our employee group has a lot of engineers and marketing types and we see a lot of different faces in the building from time to time including customers, sales people, suppliers and consultants—all who are integral to our business.
Our biggest challenges are related to managing rapid, profitable growth. As one of the best companies in the area and in the medical device industry, we attract many potential employees, suppliers and distributors. We carefully select the people around the business to deliver good financial results, enhance our capabilities and preserve the company culture. Circadiance is special because we create the framework for all stakeholders to be creative, and to achieve their personal aspirations while contributing to a successful medical device team.
